This Privacy Policy is displayed to make you aware of the information practices Building Intelligence Inc maintains, including our services, platform, and products.

Please note that if you submit Personal Information (as defined below) through the Platform, Services or Products, you will send it to us (Building Intelligence) in the USA. We will collect, process and transfer your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By submitting your Personal Information through the Platform, Services or Products, you consent to Building Intelligence’s collection, use, storage and transfer of your Personal Information to our company databases and other repositories, wherever located, for the purposes for which it is submitted and in accordance with the policies set forth in this Privacy Policy.
1. What Information Is Gathered
You are free to navigate the Building Intelligence website without entering any personal information. There are times when we may need information from you, including personal information, examples are numbered below.

We may also collect device information (such as product model, operating system), log information (such as device event information, system activity, hardware settings). Building Intelligence Inc uses personal information collected on its Products, Platform, and Services for the purposes for which it is requested or as necessary or permissible under applicable law (e.g., in some jurisdictions we may have to keep invoices under tax laws). We also may use personal information you provide to notify you later about new developments with respect to the Products and Services you have purchased or to inform you about new products, special offers, and services offered by Building Intelligence, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, or its business partners. It is important to note that you may opt-out of receiving further information from Building Intelligence Inc, as discussed in detail below. We use non-personal information to analyze sales trend data as it relates to geography, time and demographics.

3. Who We Share Information With
Building Intelligence will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may share personal information you provide voluntarily with our affiliated companies as described below:
3.1 Affiliated Companies and Service Providers. We work together with affiliated companies and service providers who are acting on our behalf for the uses described above. For example, a service provider may fulfill orders, provide support, organize sweepstakes, host or operate an online Building Intelligence Service, or process credit card transactions. Service providers are only given access to the information necessary to perform their functions and Building Intelligence requires that its service providers keep confidential any personal information disclosed to them. Furthermore, Building Intelligence Inc may use payment processing services in the United States, which will subject your information to the laws of the United States, including the Patriot Act. When an affiliated company or one of our service providers is involved in a transaction with you, we may share your personal information related to this transaction.
3.2 Building Intelligence Inc Authorized Dealers and Distributors. We work with and through members of our distribution channel to provide customers and potential customers with product information and customer service. For example, Building Intelligence may forward the contact information of a potential customer to a Building Intelligence authorized dealer to respond to a customer inquiry about Building Intelligence Inc Products.
Building Intelligence requires that its dealers and distributors keep confidential any personal information of customers or potential customers disclosed to them.
3.3 Mergers and Reorganizations. In the event of a corporate reorganization, such as a merger, acquisition or sale or transfer of assets by Building Intelligence Inc outside the normal course of business, customer information may be transferred to third parties as part of that transaction, but not without your knowledge or consent.
3.4 Other Situations. Finally, Building Intelligence Inc may release personal information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with law, (b) enforce or apply the terms of our user agreements (e.g., Terms of Sale and Terms of Service), or (c) to protect the rights, property or safety of Building Intelligence Inc our website users, or others.

Your privacy is important to us which is why Building Intelligence does not assume consent to the collection of personal information based on the browsing of our site. You may opt-in and opt-out at any time from any Building Intelligence marketing or electronic communications as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
California Residents
If the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is applicable to you and your information, you can exercise your rights to receive information and request access to your information, as well as request to delete your information.

Our website contains links to other websites. When you access other websites, even one that may contain the Building Intelligence logo and content regarding Building Intelligence Products or Services, please understand that the website is independent of Building Intelligence Inc. We do not control the privacy policies of any third-party websites. If you click-through a banner ad or link to a third-party site and submit your information, you will be subject to the privacy policies of those third parties. We assume no responsibility or liability for any third-party policies or the actions of third parties. A link to a third-party website is not an endorsement.
7. Additional Resources
Although we will use commercially reasonable and appropriate efforts to safeguard the privacy of your personal information, transmissions made by means of the internet cannot be made secure. Building Intelligence Inc. cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us from our Platform, Services, or Products.
7.1 Do Not Track
Although Building Intelligence does not track its customers to provide targeted advertising, there are third-party sites that keep track of your activities online. You can completely disable tracking on your browser settings.
7.2 Your Choices to Opt-Out
Building Intelligence Inc. will not share personal information provided to us except as stated above without allowing you the opportunity of consenting to or opting out of such disclosures. When you place an order for Building Intelligence Inc. products, register as a user of Building Intelligence Products, Services or Promotions, or when you submit a user profile you are given the opportunity to opt-in or out of future information, special offers, or communications via email.
All unsolicited email marketing and promotional communications contain an opportunity for you to decline future communication. Additionally, at any time you can opt-out of receiving such further information from Building Intelligence by sending your opt-out request to info@buildingintelligence.com.
SMS Policy
You must be 18 years or older, or at least 13 years old and have the permission of a parent/guardian, to receive text messages from Building Intelligence Inc. (“SV3,” “we,” “our,” “us” and similar terms).
By entering your phone number when using the Services or texting us from your number, you are voluntarily enrolling in our text messaging service and consent and agree to receive text messages from us as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policies as outlined above. You further acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions in this SMS Policy and expressly agree and consent to Building Intelligence sending text messages to the number you enter or provide, even if that number is listed on any federal, state or corporate do-not-call list, or we use autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send the messages.
Messages from Building Intelligence and SV3 will be used to send QR Codes, Invite or Visit Requests, Questionnaires, and other confirmation messages as needed from the multiple SV3 Apps, Platforms and Portals.
We will not charge you when you send a text message or when we send a response to you. However, message and data rates may apply depending on the plan that you have with your carrier. You can opt-in to receive text messages via email. SV3 is a product of Building Intelligence Inc. and not a third-party.

This text messaging services may not be available on all wireless carriers. Messages are currently supported on all major carriers including but not limited to AT&T, Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile. Building Intelligence Inc. may add or remove any wireless carrier from this program without notice. Mobile access and text message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Such access and delivery is not guaranteed. Neither mobile carriers nor Building Intelligence are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
